The LM2575 5V High-Voltage Step-Down Voltage Regulator is a monolithic integrated circuit that provides all the active functions for a step-down (buck) switching regulator, capable of driving a 0.5A load with excellent line and load regulation. This device is available in the fixed output voltage of 5V and an adjustable output version. Requiring a minimum number of external components, the regulator is simple to use and includes internal frequency compensation and a fixed-frequency oscillator.
